Review:
A simple, repeating, syncopated, alternating interval of a fifth along with passages of the hymn tune in sixths and thirds opens this transcription of Joel Raney's setting of EIN' FESTE BURG. LVed, eighth-note accompaniment sets the tone for the second section. The arrangement grows in strength and power to the end with the addition of chromatic movement to heighten the passion.
