Review:
This arrangement of the Welsh folk tune
"Ash Grove" is a cheerful, happy tune arranged so that those characteristics shine through. While the piece is mostly chordal in nature, the bass clef sometimes rings eighth-note passages and other times chimes in with the chords. The upper register carries the melody throughout the music. Dynamics never range above mezzo forte. This 83-measure setting is arranged in Eb Major and C Major.
