Review:
A lowered seventh tone gives this setting a modal feel and blues feel all in one. It is based on the hymn tune by Peter Scholtes. Echo technique and optional handchimes (6 ranging from C4 to A4) join to further enhance the ethereal mood. Later passages are fully scored and powerful and contrast to passages of flowing eighth-note accompaniment. 69 measures.
