Review:
Nineteen bells in the 3-octave range, all scored in treble clef, provide optional accompaniment for the majority of this Easter anthem. The text is by Horatius Bonar and the music by Timothy Mayfield. The congregation and choir sing the refrain together and antiphonal declare: "Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed!" The tempo is bright and bouncy and the meter is 6/8. Separate instrumentation scores are available. Instrument parts consist of two trumpets, two trombones, timpani and six handbell parts.
