Review:
Using the 17th Century French Tune, "Picardy", the composer begins quietly with one voice. The second stanza becomes a round between male and female voices. Stanza three is four-part harmony and last stanza ends in unison. Bells are used as a pedalpoint in the beginning and become an ostinato pattern toward the end.
