Review:
"Doxology" is the newest in a series of fanfares put out by Jeffers Publishing. It is available for 2-3 octaves or 4-6 octaves with optional organ (keyboard) and/or brass and percussion (timpani and suspended cymbal). Basically the standard Old 100th is surrounded by a bright, bold fanfare texture that moves in and out of chromatic harmonies. The work is a mere 29 measures in length giving versatility to use in worship or concerts. Brass ensemble consists of 2 trumpets; French horn, Trombone, and Tuba.
