Review:
Linda Lamb's hauntingly beautiful arrangement of the Welsh hymntune ABERYSTWYTH is sure to find ample use with your ensemble throughout the church year. Flowing arpeggios underscore the opening verse of the melody while the optional flute soars above with a delicate countermelody line. The melody returns in bass handchimes for a glorious, soronous effect. A key change at the end paints the now-familiar melody in an entirely new light. A gorgeous masterpiece! 70 measures. Keys of f minor and g minor.
