Here is a bright and exciting arrangement of this familiar Advent hymn: Prepare the way, O Zion! Your Christ is drawing near! Based on a Swedish melody dated prior to 1560, Dillon has written this in 8/8 interspersed with 2/4 and 6/8, and has made excellent use of stopped sounds and rhythmic accents. The melody dances along from beginning to end. An excellent work for your Advent worship! 74 measures. Key of F Major.
