Review:
Based on a poignant Jewish folk melody, this expressive bell piece can stand alone or benefit from the addition of violin and cello (or other C instrument). The work pairs moving eight note sections with broad chords that call for optional chimes in places. Straight-forward rhythm and repetitious sections make this easy to learn but lovely to play. Please note that there is no separate string part; the string parts can only be found above the handbell score. Key of C Major. 54 measures.
