Bells and heavy metal! An orchestral anvil, a real anvil, a portion of a railroad rail, or an old brake drum and a hammer are an integral part of this piece which is both fun to ring and to hear. The anvil part can be assigned to one or more of the ringers or assigned to one person who only plays the anvil. Carefully observe the dynamics and accent marks in the bell score. Although Moderato is a lively tempo, it's a polka, not a race! "Firefest Polka" is 124 measures and is scored in D Major and G Major.
