Review:
Two powerful hymn tunes (
(Mit Freuden Zart and
Lasst Uns Erfreuen) are joined together brilliantly in this easily learned setting. Scored mostly in C Major, with a brief section in A Major, the 88-measure work is full of color and variety, utilizing mallets, in addition to LV, swing, pluck, and thumb damp techniques.
