Known Held Led
This original work by David R. Kent was inspired by Psalm 139 and is dedicated to the memory of Carol Haertel and her deep and abiding faith that never failed throughout her life journey. There are musical 'nods' to the beloved hymn, "It Is Well With My Soul". It is mostly Rung with a few Ring Touch and malleted notes. There are lovely segues to key changes, including much expression plus time and tempo changes and a more energetic and rhythmic section. Opportunities abound to bring out inner voices and other beautiful accompanying lines.
