Adoration of the Divine Light
Thirty bells ranging from F4 to D7 are scored entirely on the treble staff and are called up to random ring at assigned passages as well as play some difficult rhythms. The beginning of the original anthem is marked "Spaciously, with a sense of timelessness; legato." The text, partially adapted from Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 5:13, reads, "O Light Divine, O Blessed Light most glorious, O shadowless Light, O Sun without a Sphere, O pure Radiance, eternal and unmade; Give ear to us, Your children..."
