Resonance
Campanas University is the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus's handbell choir. It was founded in 1997 by its director Dr. Nelida Munoz de Frontera. Its members are students, alumni, and employees. It currently includes two divisions: Accelerando (the ringers) and Appoggiatura (the instrumental group of musicians). Besides playing in local festivals, it has traveled overseas to Florida, to play in Pinnacle and Disney World (2002), and to Europe to play in the festivals directed by Larry Smith and Fred Gramann (France, Italy, Scotland, Czech Republic, and Austria.)
