Christmas is Coming
If the Blues Brothers were to write a Christmas anthem, it might sound something like this anthem accompanied by piano, optional handbells, electric guitar, bass, and drums. The text begins: "Christmas is coming let the church bells ring!" And they do - 3-4 octaves of bells in the upper treble range add additional accompaniment (this handbell part is printed in the choral octavos). The middle section incorporates a traditional styling of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" before returning to the opening music. FUN! UNIQUE!
TO NOTE:
Instrument parts for electric guitar, bass, and drums are available separately (MHPC5203R).
The level 2, 3-4 octave handbell part (using only 11 upper treble bells) is printed in the SATB, SAB, TTBB, and two-part mixed choral octavos. It is not the same music as the separate handbell score.
The separate handbell score (MHPC6174HB) is a level 3+ arrangement for a full 3-5 octave choir with optional 3 octaves handchimes. This score stands alone or may be used to accompany any of the choral versions.
The vocal solo arrangement is accompanied by piano.
