Day by Day is one of 600 hymns by lyricist Karolina Sandell-Berg (a celebrated Swedish author of Gospel hymn texts) and composer Oskar Ahnfelt (a Scandanavian guitarist from the 1800’s). Found in several hymnals, Day By Day has brought many people comfort and reassurance while describing God’s daily care and guidance to all the downhearted. Karen Lakey Buckwalter’s arrangement is lovely and peaceful in its simplicity and may be played separately on handbells, or on harp (26 string lever harp part - CGIN2 - available separately), or with combined bells and harp. Begins in F Major, then modulates to G Major. 47 measures.
