Digital Direct and Digital Site License
Frequently Asked Questions and Information:

1. What is Digital Direct?
Digital Direct Handbell Music is a service allowing you to print sheet music directly from your printer.
2. What is a Digital Site License?
A Digital Site License is a file containing the sheet music and a licensing agreement that allows the purchaser to print as many copies of that sheet music as needed. It may also be used on digital devices controlled by the Licensee. The Licensee may not sell, transfer, rent, lease, redistribute or sub-license the Licensed Music.
3. What is the difference between a Digital Direct and a Digital Site License?
With Digital Direct, you are allowed to print only the number of copies that you purchased; with a Digital Site License, you are purchasing the license to print as many copies as needed for as long as the purchasing organization exists. Pieces are available as either one or the other, but not both for the same piece.
4. Are all titles available in a digital format?
Only select titles are currently available. We are working to add more to the list and new titles are constantly becoming available.
5. Can I use my church account or do I have to pay with a credit card?
Either way is fine, however, credit cards are charged at check out.
6. What if I can't print on the same day I order? How do I access the order to print it later?
Once you have logged in, you will see a link at the very top of the web site called "Digital Files." Just click on that link, and you will be taken to your purchases. Both Digital Direct and Digital Site License purchases will be listed. You will also be able to see all past Digital purchases.
7. What if I don't want to use my personal printer? Can I save the file on my computer or email it to my church to print out?
You can not save the Digital Direct file to your computer. However, you can log into your account at the church and print. You can save a Digital Site License file and take it where you need to print it.
8. How does the printing process work?
The printing process for Digital Direct is as follows:
  1. Log onto HandbellWorld.com and sign into your account.
  2. Click on "Digital Files"
  3. Disable your pop-up blocker or set to allow pop-ups from HandbellWorld.com.
  4. Click the "Click Here to Print" button.
  5. Wait for the Print Dialog Box to appear.
  6. Print to the printer that you would like to use. To allow more control over the printing process, one copy at a time is printed.
  7. Verify all pages printed correctly before closing the pop-up. If there is an error with the print, use the instructions provided in the pop-up window.
  8. Click on "Click Here" to return to the Digital Files page to continue to print. Tally of copies remaining will update as each one if printed.

The printing process for Digital Site License is as follows:
  1. Log onto HandbellWorld.com and sign into your account.
  2. Click on "Digital Files"
  3. Click on Accept License.
  4. Read the license and click the Accept License Button.
  5. Click the PDF Icon and download the PDF or print right from your browser.
9. Do I have to install any special programs on my computer to be able to view and print digital music?
You do not have to install any additional programs for this to work.
10. I direct a community group that only meets once a month for practice. Can I send the order link to each of the ringers so they can print their own copy and review it/make notes on it before the next rehearsal?
No. The way Digital Direct Sheet Music is created, you would have to give everyone your account login to access the file and that's a security breech of your account. However, if you purchase a Digital Site License, the music may be used on digital devices as long as they are controlled by the purchaser.
11. What if something happens while I'm printing and the print job is interrupted? Will I be able to access my order later and reprint?
To provide more control over the printing process and to help alleviate some of those unexpected printing problems, each file now allows you to print one copy at the time (please see detailed information under question #8). However, if you lose internet connection or your power goes off during printing, you will need to give us a call to get a second reprint of that single copy; none of the other copies on your order will be affected.
12. Will I still get a printed invoice for my treasurer?
You will receive an invoice if you use your bill account. If you use a credit card, then you will receive an emailed receipt. If you would like an invoice/receipt for the credit card purchase, then please give us a call.
13. Can I order non-Digital music and/or other items & supplies on the same order as Digital Direct and Digital Site License music or do I have to place separate orders?
Yes you can. The only difference is that you will receive 2 separate confirmations with separate numbers. Also, it will be separate invoices.
14. I’ve noticed that some titles have a minimum number of copies required for Digital Direct purchases. Why is that? What if I only need one or two replacement copies?
Publishing entities with whom we have distribution agreements have begun allowing us to offer their music as Digital Direct purchases; however, as part of those agreements, the companies asked that a minimum quantity be put into place. This applies ONLY to Digital Direct copies and ONLY to publishing entities that are not under the Jeffers Publications family; physical copies, from any publisher, do not have minimum requirements. For orders less than the minimum requirement, you will need to order the number of physical copies that you need.
