Series Title: Split Level Series - ringTrue

Song Title Composer(s) Arranger(s) Octaves
  Adventure Wissinger, Kathleen 2-3
Review: Take 1 to 9 ringers on an “Adventure” with this spunky piece that showcases the virtuosity of 1 to 4 ringers playing a Level 2+ non-stop 8-bell 8th-note melody line (using Bell Tree, Four-in-Hand (4iH) or regular assignments) – plus an easier Level 2- accompaniment option for 1 to 5 additional ringers (or Orff, piano, harp or even Boomwhackers ᴿ!). Many options for performance are noted, including playing it with 2 ringers 4iH-ing the melody line and 2 ringers covering the accompaniment.
All Aboard Various Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: Full steam ahead! Get on board with this clever arrangement of railroad themes and spirituals. Three unique but compatible scores make this piece accessible and extremely versatile.
Best Gift I and II Wissinger, Kathleen 3, 5 or 6
Review:

Hear the drone of the bagpipes! This original Celtic jig will delight your ringers and audience from the first note of the lilting original melody and the unusual turns it takes. Bass ringers play the open fifth intervals to support the melody.

Circle of Time Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: Worthy of festival, worship and concert; this versatile piece in c minor with a harmonic bent offers 5 compatible, stand-alone score options from 2 to 5 octaves; from beginning L1 ringers learning to read notes to L2 ringers adept at 8th notes and plucking.
Echoes of the Past Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: This mesmerizing piece features a repetitive Level 1 echo pattern in the lower bells and a Level 2 modal melody in treble. Two different versions in the folio allow a custom fit for your ringers: “A” for 2 octaves contains the L2 melody from A5-G6 while G4-G5 ringers play the L1 echo patterns – and “B” for 3-5 oct. has the L2 melody from F5-C7 and 5 L1 positions from C4-E5.
  Fortitude Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: “Fortitude” is a welcome addition to ringTrue’s “Split Level Series” – pieces written with targeted L1 positions to seamlessly (and invisibly) integrate new or L1 ringers into an established group, to allow multi-level or multi-grade groups to successfully perform together, or to allow established ringers to practice 4iH in easier positions. Three compatible scores are included in the folio.
  Four Square Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: Two L2 ringers in a class of beginners inspired “Four Square” – a Split-Level piece that keeps experienced ringers on their toes playing eighth notes while new ringers learn to ring easy half and whole note chords. The catchy 4-note melody (either from G to C (plus D) or from C to F (plus G)) can be played from a number of scores in two different ranges (“A” for 2-5 oct.in the Key of G - and “B” for 3-5 oct. in the Key of C). If more L2 ringers are included, they can double the melody an octave above or below or play from a score which involves 3 ringers sharing the 4-note melody. Opportunities to ring 3 bells in a single position or 4iH is also noted. Ringers really love this simple little piece and ask for it again and again, even long after the need for such a piece has passed. Use the sub-title “Fourfold Praise” for sacred settings.
Jingle Jingle Pierpont, James Lord Wissinger, Kathleen 2-5
Review: This perky rendition of the holiday icon “Jingle Bells” will delight ringers and audiences alike. Two compatible settings are included in the “Jingle, Jingle” folio: “2” for 2-5 octaves (Level 1+) with a lively obbligato part (G6-C7 at Level 2) that trails the Jingle Bells melody in the “A” section – and “1” for 2-3 octaves with a simplified obbligato part (L2-) for the same range (G6-C7).
Matinata I and II Wissinger, Kathleen 3-5
Review:

The innovative “Split-Level Series” features Level 2 pieces with specific Level 1 positions, to seamlessly integrate new or beginning ringers into an established group; also useful for multiple-grade ensembles in schools and multi-level Festivals. Please note: Morning Song A&B (RE2302AB) is the same tune as Matinata I, II & III but is set in different keys – so neither Morning Song A nor Morning Song B are compatible with any Matinata settings. All three Matinata settings ARE compatible.

My Paddle's Keen and Bright - I McGee, Margaret Embers Wissinger, Kathleen 3-5
Review:

“My Paddle’s Keen and Bright - I” is based on a beloved “campfire” song, written by Canadian Margaret Embers McGee to honor the First Nations people and their love of the waterways. Embodying the essence of a native folk tune motif, the driving rhythms and haunting melody will make it one of your ringers’ favorite pieces.

Fully scored for 3-5 octaves, this L2+ piece is a “Split-Level” piece which allows new or beginning ringers to easily assimilate into an established group – and allows multiple-levels/grades to perform together.

Per Fiddler Norwegian Folk Tune Wissinger, Kathleen 3 or 5
Review: A beloved Norwegian folk song, “Per Fiddler,” springs to life with a lively waltz bass and an intriguing little countermelody. This “Split-Level” L2 piece from ringTrue is fully-scored for 3 or 5 octaves with specific Level 1 positions that seamlessly integrate new ringers into an established group or allow multiple-level and multiple-grade choirs to include all ringers.
Walk the Walk Wissinger, Kathleen 3-5
Review:

A Split-Level piece, some parts are intentionally Level 1, but with lots of techniques, they are still fun to ring. Add tambourine and finger chimes for some sparkle.
