Review:
"The Prodigal Son" presents Jesus' parable of a ne'er-do-well son, his diligent brother, and his generous and forgiving father. Each character, including 'the money' and the pigs the son cared for, is represented by a specific musical signature. Characters may be taught by rote or by using the Set-Up sheets which show the notated pattern. All materials are included (Set-Up Sheets, Instructions, Narration, Record sheet) and the original purchaser may reproduce these materials as needed. A wonderful first-ringing experience for young children, a fun work-up for a talent show or children's sermon, and a quick and easy presentation for Church Music Conferences and outreach programs, "The Prodigal Son" can be used again and again to introduce each new generation to the joy of ringing.
