Review:
Commissioned for a hymnfest, the hymn text by George Herbert is here set to new music with a tune name of FORT WORTH. Dotted rhythms and melismas characterize the melodic line with chordal accompaniment in bells and keyboard and brass. The bells ring for the majority of the work in strong chords and peal-like passages of eighths. This is a nice way to involve bells in a larger work. 106 measures.
