Four optional (but desirable) handbells (A5, D6, F#6 and A6) add their flavor to this original anthem about bells! Simple, half-note rhythms play a sweet descant above the text: "Ring the bells of Christmas; ring them loud and clear." An optional flute may join in as well. The verses speak of the angels, the shepherds and our own hearts and voices.
