Review:
This 16th century French carol has a haunting melody that has been very effectively set for the 5 or 6 octave handbell choir. It is essentially a set of variations set in very contrasting styles. The arranger successfully uses different registers and stopped techniques to achieve a unified, quality work. This setting would be great in a worship setting or as a stand alone number in concert.
