Review:
Timpani (with included separate score), the upper register of 5-octaves of chimes, and a full 5-octaves of handbells combine to present this adaptation of Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky's beloved waltz from "Sleeping Beauty." The music is scored to echo the orchestra instruments, and employs all manner of special articulations to accomplish the task. A challenge to be sure, but well worth the effort. Two hundred and twenty-two measures in all.
