Review:
Eight optional handchimes in the two-octave range add interest to this setting of the gospel hymn by Charles Converse for 2-3 octaves of bells. A gentle beginning soon gives way to a syncopated and peppy accompaniment with staccato technique. The music builds to a strong chord in measure 71, then, after a grand pause, finishes out another six measures growing softer to the ending pianississimo in measure 77.
