Review:
Written for an opening concert of an AGEHR event this setting is based on "Te Deum, Leoni, and Morning Song". The work opens in a free manner "like a chant" then pauses before a driving "Allegro" sections in 6/8 and 6/4 meter. A later section writes in melody and harmony parts for chimes in the 3-4 octave range. The texture and drive grows bolder and bigger beyond and ends in a dramatic statement.
