Review:
Commissioned to celebrate the life of a beloved man, this original composition sets forth that life in a sweet, but happy melody. The first section presents the tune in 6/8 with dotted rhythms and 16th-note accompaniment. A second section changes to 4/4 and adapts the melody to a more chordal accompaniment. A short free section leads to a restatement of the original material and then some. 101 measures.
