Review:
31 Contraries Read,T. T005 VI D Q Serious, contemporary composer, Thomas Read, wrote this multi-sectional concert piece to project contrasting moods: lyrical, dramatic and mystical. Its propulsive conclusion incorporates devices of traditional change ringing. This is not an easy piece and the choir, who chooses it must be prepared to work!
