Review:
The beloved folksong from Ireland, commonly known as "Danny Boy" is here set in straightforward style that begins simply and builds to the end. 7-8 optional handchimes in the two octave range are scored for the melody in the second section. The last section is set for 6 octaves of bells and travels through a good deal of chromatic movement.
