Review:
Written for an elementary school bell choir for use at a Latin American festival, this setting of a Jamaican folk song is a good tool to teach simple syncopation. Optional percussion instruments--triangle, maracas and bongos--may be used and a free separate score may be included, if desired. Several special techniques are called for. This piece is 36 measures and is scored in F Major.
