Review:
Michael Helman walked away with numerous composition contest awards in 1996-97. His ability to write simple, but enjoyable music has extended to this new, original work in the Festival Series from Lorenz. A joyful melody highlighted with marts starts right at the beginning accompanied by malleted chords. Later the upper bells thumb damp while the melody moves to the lower register. The key changes follow and ABA form C major - C minor - C major.
