Review:
The subtitle for this anthem is "Easter Celebration" and the text begins: "People, come and lift your voices, hearts to heaven raise. Sing to God a song of gladness, sing a joyful song of praise." A syncopated accompaniment pattern in the keyboard propels the piece along while one octave of handbells (G5-G6) offer a ostinato-like bell peal a various moments throughout the piece. Youth or adult SAB or 2-part mixed voices will find this a peppy piece from Pepper Choplin!
