Review:
Ever since the angel's proclamation, 'Glory to God in the highest...' composers have been writing music to echo that glad announcement. This fantasy for 3 or 5 octaves, combines three of the best-loved "Glorias" of the Chrismtas season: the carol, "Angels We Have Heard on High," Vivladi's "Gloria" and "Glory to God" from Handel's "Messiah." The tempo is energetic and poses the strongest challenge to the ringers. The key remains in D major throughout with ventrues into minor harmonies.
