Review:
"Sing Noel" is one of the oldest existing noels and is based on a 15th century manuscript. The text offers a first-person perspective of the angel's annunciation of the birth of Jesus. The bells ring in light texture throughout most of the work. The tempo is quarter = 112-120 and the meter is 2/4. The text begins: Sing "Noel!" I can never cease my singing while the air with joy is ringing, on this happy holy day sing "Noel!"
