Review:
Interesting arrangements for beginning ringers are found in this Ardis Freeman handbell library." Sweet Hour of Prayer", the favorite Bradbury hymn, provides a good work out on counting and rests. Consider adding mallets on suspended bells on the last chord. The back cover gives performance suggestions and an warm-up exercise that helps the ringers understand the music better. Permission is given to copy the exercise on a transparency if so desired.
