Review:
The traditional French melody, NOEL NOUVELET has here been arranged for 3-5 octaves of bells. The first section is straight forward with a couple of chromatic surprises. After a key change the tempo slows and we find the melody in a quasi-major tonality with the bass line descending chromatically. Later on tempo one resumes and is fully scored to keep everyone busy!
