Review:
This Hispanic folk tune is set for 3 to 5-octaves with optional guitar. The guitarist has the option of playing by chord symbols that are set in the score or by notes on a separate score in the back of the selection. This lullaby uses lots of LV technique to achieve a tender mood. The melody is found in both upper and lower registers. A fuller textured section uses a march-like rhythm with staccato technique with the melody above. However, the ending is open textured and light with a pianissimo ending. Set in C Major, c minor, and G Major, this piece is 77 measures.
