Review:      The text of this anthem for mixed voices, handbells and organ is taken from I John 3:2-3 "Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is..." The bells needed range from E5 to A6 and are written in the treble staff in simple rhythms. The challenge comes in with the constant, changing of meter - 5/4 to 3/2 to 4/4 to 7/4 etc. This anthem may also be used as the Offertory Sentence for Christ the King Sunday.
