Review:      Set for a full SSATB choir with piano and 3 octaves of handbells, this piece begins with the women accompanied only by handbells only. The effectis ethereal. The handbell part may be played on piano, celeste or other synthesized ringing sound. After an accapella section the piano comes in to accompany, and the bells rest until the final two measures where they ring the beginning motive of the melody: "Shall we gather at the river."
