Review:
Composer Michael Helman won the 1997 AGEHR Area V Composition Contest with this original work for 2 to 3-octaves. There are three movements in this suite: "Fanfare, Meditation and Toccata". "Fanfare" has an interesting mart-lift ascending line, "Meditation" makes extensive use of the echo technique along with choir chimes and "Toccata" is flavored with marts and plucks. Each short movement may be played individually.
