Review:
This stately Russian hymn begins with a fanfare of all parts that leads into a hymn-like setting of the tune. The next verse calls for the keyboard and trumpet on melody while the bells contribute a running, eighth-note accompaniment. A key change and then bells solo on two verses. The conclusion is full with all parts playing. An exciting BIG triumphant number. Brass ensemble consists of Trumpet, Horn in F, Trombone and Tuba. 3-4 octave arrangement with organ and Brass ensemble is MSTSGM123.
