Review:
"Christ is Arisen", a new musical setting of the German hymn, calls for SAB, organ, optional trumpet and two octaves of handbells. The bell part consists entirely of dotted quarter-note chords rung in 6/8 time. This is a sprightly piece with the character marking, "With fire!" Trumpet parts are included in the octavo.
