Review:
Celebrating the life of Kipp Willnauer, this upbeat piece (commissioned by Area 8 HMA and Kipp's friends and family) is based on a hymn that Kipp once arranged. His score is the basis for the first section. Solid Level 2, 3-6 octave scoring throughout includes all ringers as each variation explores new rhythms and ranges for the melody.
Three or more octaves of chimes are optional, adding a counter voice to a malletted section. An alternate title "Spirit Dance" allows use throughout the year as well as in secular settings. Kipp's original arrangement and the text to the hymn, should you want to sing it, are also included in the score. Ideal for worship, celebration, festival and concert – at Pentecost and for general use.
