Review:
Kingsfold is a well known traditional English tune from 1893 with over 100 texts associated with it, so it can be used year ‘round in liturgy. This setting would also be ideal as a lyric piece in a concert, school or festival setting. Also available in a 2 octave setting (RE8037A) which is not compatible with this score as they are in two different keys. Select whichever score suits your available ringers and bell range. Part of the True Music series from ringTrue, featuring well-crafted music for concert, festival and worship. 43 measures. 2:40 performance time As proof of its accessibility, the sound file was recorded at a once-through reading session during Mosaic Handbell Ensemble’s “Ring & Polish” workshop, March 2023.
