Review:
Ron Mallory's interpretation of the favorite Robert Lowry hymn tune HANSON PLACE is truly fresh and innovative. It opens with the Singing Bell technique and optional handchimes setting a slow, freely flowing mood that brings to mind the river in the title. This feeling continues as the main melody progresses, before giving way to a bold and majestic section. Finally, the flowing of the river returns and leads to the end of this musical journey. This one is sure to become a favorite for years to come. Begins in F Major, then modulates to C Major. 77 measures.
