The tune ABERYSTWYTH is often paired with the Charles Wesley hymn text, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul”. It is a hymn of hope, and provides comfort in turbulent times. Echoes and suspended mallets offer a delicate and ethereal tone to begin the piece, while the middle section features singing bell underneath the melody played in canon form as a 'trio' between bells, bass chimes, and treble chimes. The inclusion of “Jesus Loves Me” in the minor key is an unexpected and beautiful surprise.
