Review:
This lovely arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Prelude in C# Major, BWV 872 has been beautifully scored for handchimes and handbells. It begins with LV handchimes followed by LV handbells supporting the beautiful melody. It should be noted that a solo instrument is not required and there is an optional treble clef staff if a solo instrument is not played. However, the solo is the ‘icing’ on this musical ‘cake’ and is highly recommended. This will be a wonderful piece for use in worship, weddings, concert, schools and more. Separate scores are available for violin, flute, cello and Bb clarinet. 57 measures.
