Review:
Commissioned by Stow Heritage Ringers of Stow, Ohio, "Intrepid" is an exciting original work full of intensity. Constantly-changing time signatures will challenge ringers, while the catchy melody will intrigue and engage listeners. The driving malleted bass gives way to a slower, softer section that remains in 4/4 but loses none of the energy of the opening. The initial material returns as the piece builds towards its end on an explosive final chord for a finish sure to send your audience to their feet! 151 measures.
