Review:
This is a fresh, creative, rhythmic setting of “Lancashire” that will be a toe-tapping favorite for both ringers and congregation. The use of RT, TD, echoes and mallets with some well-placed LVs to offset the stopped sounds, provides a solid underpinning for the melody. The segue from Ab major to Bb major ramps it up a notch in excitement. The rhythmic patterns, once established, make this an accessible piece for those groups just venturing into Level 3 works -- yet will also keep more advanced groups engaged. 92 measures.
