Review:
While co-conducting an event in 2010, internationally acclaimed composers Bill Payn and Michael Glasgow (who creatively approach composition in nearly identical ways) decided to collaborate on an original work. Years later, they’ve given us a celebratory, sparkling piece in honor of the friendships we make because of handbells. A stately eight-measure introduction may be repeated as a processional if desired. Fun, rhythmic, and very accessible, its message speaks to the heart of the handbell community, and will find a home in concert, worship or festivals! 79 measures.
