Review:
Let bells “sing beautifully!” Ronald Kauffmann’s lovely “Bel Canto” combines a beautiful melody with a sustained, arpeggiated accompaniment. The piece moves through two contrasting sections of increased activity before returning, in arched form, to its principle lyric theme. This expressive and introspective original will be a welcome addition to concerts, festivals and worship services. 84 measures.
